Bellator 110 took place two weeks ago at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and all of the drug test came back negative.
Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation Executive Director Mike Mazzulli confirmed the results to TheMMAReport.com on Monday after they were requested and the fighters were tested for drugs on the banned list, including steroids.
Mazzulli confirmed that the main event fighters (Quinton Jackson and Christian M’Pumbu) were among the fighters tested, along with random fighters from the rest of the card.
Bellator 110 was headlined by the semifinals of the light heavyweight tournament, which saw Jackson and Muhammed “King Mo Lawal advance to the final. The fight card also featured the opening round of the featherweight tournament, along with several fights featuring local fighters.
This fight card marked the first event of 2014 for Bellator and TheMMAReport.com has been tracking Bellator drug testing since the beginning of 2013. Out of the 25 events in 2013, The MMA Report was able to confirm with commission contacts that drug testing took place at twelve events. In the other thirteen events, three events were confirmed to not have any drug testing performed and we were unable to get an answer on the other ten.
