A light heavyweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 12 on July 26th in San Jose, California as Kyle Kingsbury returns to the octagon to meet Patrick Cummins.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on early Tuesday afternoon.
UFC on FOX 12 will come from the SAP Center in San Jose on July 26th and will be headlined by a number one contender bout in the welterweight division as former title challenger Robbie Lawler meets Matt Brown.
Kingsbury (11-5, 1NC) has been out of action since losing to Jimi Manuwa at UFC on FUEL TV 5 in September of 2012. The defeat to Manuwa was his third straight lost and his last win came in 2011 at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale against Fabio Maldonado.
Cummins (5-1) was signed by the UFC earlier this year to face Daniel Cormier on short notice at UFC 170. He would be defeated by TKO in the first round and returned last weekend at UFC Fight Night 42 and defeated Roger Narvaez by TKO in the second round.
