Josh Burkman pulled out of his World Series of Fighting 11 co-main event bout against Jon Fitch with an injury and Dennis Hallman will replace Burkman and face Fitch on the July 5th card in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The new fight booking was initially reported by MMA Fighting and was shortly confirmed by the promotion following the report.
World Series of Fighting 11 will come from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida on July 5th and will be headlined by Justin Gaethje making his first lightweight title defense against Nick Newell.
Hallman (53-12-2, 1NC) is a former UFC fighter and is currently on a three fight winning streak. His most recent win came in December as he scored his 41st career win by submission as he defeated Aleksey Shapovalov at Union of Veterans Sport: Cup of Champions.
