World Series of Fighting 11 took place this past Saturday at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida and Nick Newell was one four fighters receiving a medical suspension.
The Florida Boxing Commission released the medical suspensions to TheMMAReport.com on Tuesday after they were requested.
The World Series of Fighting 11 fight card was headlined by Justin Gaethje retaining the lightweight title with a second round TKO victory against Newell.
Newell was one of three main card fighters to receive a medical suspension with the other two being Dennis Hallman and JZ Cavalacante. Newell was given a sixty day suspension, while Hallman received an indefinite suspenion for a torn bicep and Cavalacante was suspended thirty days.

- Nick Newell: Suspended 60 days
- Dennis Hallman: Suspended indefinitely for torn bicep and will need orthopedic clearance
- JZ Cavalacante: Suspended 30 days
- Kendrick Miree: Suspended 30 days
