Rampage Jackson vs. Fabio Maldonaldo elevated to co-main event of UFC 186

The UFC 186 fight card went through a change today as bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw pulled out of the event with a rin injury and the new main event of the fight card will be Demetrious Johnson defending the flyweight title against Horiguchi.

Johnson and Horiguchi were initially the co-main event and the new co-main event of the fight card will be a light heavyweight bout between former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Fabio Maldonado.

The new co-main event was confirmed by UFC Director of Communications Dave Sholler on Twitter and he also confirmed that the lightweight bout between Abel Trujillo and John Makdessi has been elevated to the main card on pay-per-view.
