Next month’s UFC 187 fight card has reportedly seen another change as Khabib Nurmagomedov is out of his lightweight bout against Donald Cerrone due to an injury.
The injury was reported on Wednesday evening by MMA Junkie and the story states the exact injury is not know, but it appears to be a knee injury.
UFC 187 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 23 and will be headlined by a vacant title bout as Anthony Johnson meets Daniel Cormier for the light heavyweight title.
According to the report by MMA Junkie, the UFC is searching for a new opponent to meet Cerrone on the UFC 187 fight card. Every fighter in the UFC lightweight top ten rankings are already booked for fights and Jorge Masvidal tweeted that he is willing to take the fight on short notice.
