A welterweight bout is now official for UFC 190 on August 1 in Brazil as Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 winner Warlley Alves will meet Nordine Taleb on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on early Wednesday evening.
UFC 190 will come from the HSBC Arena on August 1st and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Bethe Correia.
Alves (8-0) won The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 as a middleweight and is coming off a decision win against Alan Jouban in a welterweight bout. He has five career wins by stoppage and three of those have come in the first round. Taleb (11-2) is currently on a three fight winning streak. He is coming off a decision win against Chris Clements and all of his wins in the UFC are by decision.
