After losing two straight fights, former Ultimate Fighter contestant Kyle Noke will be moving down to the welterweight division and will meet Charlie Brenneman at UFC 151 on September 1st.
Noke made the announcement on his Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon.
Noke (19-6-1) was a contestant on season eleven of “The Ultimate Fighter” and made his official UFC debut at the finale in June of 2010.
He started his UFC career with three straight victories and all three wins were by submission. Then he lost back to back fights against Ed Herman and Andrew Craig.
Brenneman (15-4) is a seven fight veteran of the UFC and has won three of his last five fights. His most recent fight came at UFC on FX 3 in early June and was defeated in the first round by submission against Erick Silva.
UFC 151 takes place on September 1st from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending his light heavyweight title against former Pride and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson.
