A women’s featherweight bout has been added to the CES MMA 30 card on August 14 in Rhode Island as Ultimate Fighter alum Peggy Morgan will meet Jessy Miele.
The fight booking was announced by CES MMA officials today.
CES MMA 30 will come from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island and the main card will air live on AXS TV.
Morgan (3-3) has dropped three of her last four fights and is coming off a decision defeat in April against Latoya Walker at Invicta FC 12. All of her wins have come by decision and she is looking to score her first career win by knockout.
“I’m expecting crisper hands, I’m expecting to go out there and put on an impressive performance, and hopefully getting the knockout,” said Morgan. “She’s aggressive and has decent hands,” the former professor adds, “but I feel my hands are better. I’m going to be looking to prove that.”
Miele (4-1) is currently on a four fight winning streak after losing her pro debut last year. Three of her four wins have come by stoppage and this will be her debut with CES MMA.
“I’m feeling great and I’m really excited about this fight,” said Miele. “Peggy has a great background, and I’m really excited about it.”
