Pat Healy has a new opponent for Saturday’s Titan FC 34 after Mike Ricci pulled out of the title fight with an injury and he will now be facing Marcus Edwards.
Titan FC COO Lew McMahon informed MMA Fighting on Tuesday that Ricci suffered a hand injury and Edwards will be stepping up on five days notice to meet Healy for the lightweight title.
Titan FC 34 will come from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City on Saturday and the event will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
Edwards (10-3) has won six of his last seven fights and is coming off a decision win at RFA 26 last month.
