Bellator 140 took place on Friday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and the main card on Spike TV was headlined by Andrey Koreshkov defeating Douglas Lima by unanimous decision to win the welterweight title.
Along with the title fight, the main card featured knockout victories by Paul Daley, Brennan Ward, and Michael Page.

- The fight between Chris Honeycutt and Paul Bradley was declared a no-contest due to a cut and this is the 8th no-contest in Bellator history.
- Page defeated Rudy Bears by knockout in 65 seconds and he is now tied for the 4th most TKO/KO wins in Bellator welterweight division history.
- On the preliminary card, Ryan Quinn improved to 7-0 in Bellator with a submission victory against Waylon Lowe.
