Andrei Arlovski vs. Frank Mir official as co-main event of UFC 191

The rumor heavyweight bout between Andrei Arlovski and Frank Mir is now official as the former UFC champions will meet in the co-main event of UFC 191 on September 5 in Las Vegas.UFC 191 Web

The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Saturday night during the UFC 190 main card broadcast on pay-per-view.

UFC 191 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 5 and will be headlined by a rematch as Demetrious Johnson defends the flyweight title against John Dodson.

Arlovski (24-10, 1NC) is currently on a five fight winning streak and is coming off a TKO win in May against Travis Browne. His last two wins have come by TKO/KO in the first round and he is 9-1, 1NC in his last eleven fights. Mir (18-9) has won back to back fights and both of those wins have come by knockout in the first round. His most recent win came in July as he defeated Todd Duffee at UFC Fight Night 71.
