A heavyweight bout has been booked for the UFC 192 on October 3 as Derrick Lewis will meet Anthony Hamilton in a bout that will likely be part of the televised preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC 192 will come from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by a title fight as Daniel Cormier defends the light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.
Lewis (12-4, 1NC) will enter this fight following a defeat in June against Shawn Jordan. He is 3-2 in the UFC and all of those victories came by TKO/KO. Hamilton (14-4) has gone 2-2 since entering the UFC and is coming off a decision win against Daniel Omielańczuk. Eight of his wins have come by stoppage and seven of those victories have come by TKO/KO.
