It has been over a month since Deadspin released an article concerning Vitor Belfort’s drug test leading up to UFC 152 in 2012 and Belfort addressed the situation during last night’s edition of Inside MMA on AXS TV.
Inside MMA host Ron Kruck asked Belfort about the Deadspin story and Belfort started off by stating he got approval for that fight by the UFC and the commission.
“That fight, I got approval from the UFC and the commission,” Belfort said. “I had everything set. I came with no training to fight Jon Jones and I almost submitted him in the fight. To tell you the truth, I do not know anything to say. This is the truth. When you deal with that, you just have to know, people will say things. Some people will say different things. The truth is the truth.”
The complete interview with Belfort from last night’s episode of Inside MMA is below and Belfort started he has been drug tested three times by USADA since they started working with the UFC.
