Lukasz Sajewski has pulled out of his UFC Fight Night 84 bout against Teemu Packalen due to an undisclosed injury and stepping up to face Packalen on less than two weeks notice will be UFC newcomer Thibault Gouti.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Tuesday morning.
UFC Fight Night 84 will take place on February 27 from the O2 Arena in London, England and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as former UFC champion Anderson Silva returns from suspension to meet Michael Bisping.
Gouti (11-0) is coming off a knockout victory against ex-UFC lightweight Anton Kuivanen at Cage 33 in November and his last two victories have come by knockout. Nine of his eleven victories have come by stoppage and six of those wins are by submission. Packalen (7-1) lost his UFC debut last year against Mickael Lebout and this will be his first fight since that defeat. Prior to entering the UFC, all of his victories came by stoppage and five of those wins came in the opening round.
