The UFC 203 fight card on September 10 has added a women’s bout as Ultimate Fighter 20 alum Joanne Caldwerwood will face Jessica Andrade and the bout is expected to be part of the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday and the weight class the fight will take place at was not disclosed.
UFC 203 will come from the Quicken Loans Arena and will be headlined by a title fight as Stipe Miocic defends the UFC heavyweight title against Alistair Overeem.
Calderwood (11-1) has won back to back fights after losing to Maryna Moroz last year at UFC Fight Night 64. Her most recent win came last month at UFC Fight Night 89 as she defeated Valerie Letourneau by TKO in a flyweight bout. Andrade (14-5) dropped down to the strawweight division last month and defeated Jessica Penne by TKO at UFC 199. She is 5-3 in his eight UFC fights and has alternated wins and losses in her last five fights.
