The co-main event tomorrow night at UFC on FOX 4 from the Staples Center will see former champion Lyoto Machida (17-3) take on former Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader (15-2). 
This is the only fight on the main card that was not changed due to an injury, when the UFC originally announced the fight card.
The winner of this fight could be next in line for a title shot with an impressive performance.
Machida started his UFC career with eight straight victories and become the light heavyweight champion at UFC 98 when he defeated Rashad Evans. He has lost three of his last four fight and all four fights were against fighters who have held a UFC title. He is coming off a second round submission lost to current champion Jon Jones.
Bader won the eighth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” and has won two in a row since losing back to back fights against Jones and Tito Ortiz. His last win came against former champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and was the biggest win of his career.
Jones broke down the fight yesterday on Twitter and said what both fighters need to go to get the victory.

Bader’s strongest punch is his overhand right, which is the strike that Mauricio “Shogun” Rua used to knockout Machida to become the champion at UFC 113. Bader will try to use his wrestling to attempt to get the fight to the ground and use his ground and pound. On the other hand, Machida has a different style and creates problems for his opponents.
Machida is the favorite on the betting odds for this fight, but don’t be surprised if Bader can pull the upset victory in this fight.
