Former UFC strawweight title challenger Claudia Gadelha will be returning to the UFC octagon in November as she will meet Cortney Casey at UFC Fight Night 100 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday afternoon.
UFC Fight Night 100 will take place from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium on November 19 and the event will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as former UFC title challenger Alexander Gustafsson will meet Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
Gadelha (13-2) lost a decision against UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in July at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale and both of her career defeats have come against Jedrzejczyk. Casey (6-3) has won back to back fights and is coming off a submission victory against Randa Markos at UFC 202 last month.
