The opening bout of tomorrow’s Bellator NYC pay-per-view will be a title fight as Douglas Lima defends the welterweight title against Lorenz Larkin on the fight card coming from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Lima (28-6) became a two-time Bellator welterweight champion last year when he defeated Andrey Koreshkov by knockout at Bellator 164. He enters this fight with back to back victories and a victory over Lima would move him into a tie with Koreshkov for the most wins in Bellator welterweight division history.
During this week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Lima was a guest on the podcast to preview his title defense against Larkin tomorrow night at Bellator NYC.
