Curtis Blaydes continued his rise up the UFC heavyweight rankings last weekend at UFC 217 as he scored a TKO victory over previous #9 title challenger Aleksei Oleinik.
The victory for Blaydes (8-1, 1NC) improved him to 3-1, 1NC in his five fights in the UFC and he’s unbeaten since losing his UFC debut against Francis Ngannou last year. The TKO victory over Oleinik marked his seventh career win by TKO/KO and six of those wins have come in the first or second round.
On this edition of “The MMA Report Podcast Extra,” Blaydes recaps his victory over Oleinik and names two opponents that logically make sense for his next fight.
