Ronda Rousey and winner of Miesha Tate-Cat Zingano named coaches for TUF 18

At the end of the UFC 158 preliminary card on FX, UFC President Dana White announced that the coaches for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter will be Ronda Rousey and the winner of the TUF 17 Finale bout between Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano.The Ultimate Fighter

Tate and Zingano will face each other on the main card of The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on April 13th and it will be the second women’s bout in UFC history.

Along with announcing who the coaches will be, White also announced that the contestants on the show will be men and women bantamweight fighters.

Tryouts for season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter will take place on Monday, April 15 in Las Vegas. All TUF 18 candidates must be at least 21 years old, have the legal ability to live & work in the United States, and have a minimum of three professional Mixed Martial Arts fights. Candidates must have a winning record, which will have to be verified.

Tryout details will be released on Monday, March 18 and TUF 18 is expected to debut in the fall of 2013.
