Following the UFC 150 weigh-in’s, UFC President Dana White went on FUEL TV to discuss Melvin Guillard missing weight, the main event title fight and if Nate Diaz would get the winner of Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar.
At the time of the interview, White said he had not talked to Guillard and he didn’t appear to be upset about the fighter missing weight.
White cited that he took this fight on short notice and stepped up for this fight. He went on to say that Guillard doesn’t seem to confident for this fight, which is unlike him.
The UFC President briefly talked about the main event and believes that if Edgar does not win tonight, he will drop down to featherweight. Also, White confirmed the winner of this fight will face Nate Diaz in the next title fight.
