Khabib Nurmagomedov has a new opponent for next week’s UFC on FOX 19 event as he will face UFC newcomer Darrell Horcher in a catchweight bout of 160 pounds.
The fight booking was reported by FOX Sports on Thursday afternoon and this matchup will be one of the four fights on the main card broadcast on FOX.
UFC on FOX 19 will come from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as former UFC title challenger Glover Teixeira will meet former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans.
Nurmagomedov (22-0) was initially scheduled to face Tony Ferguson in the main event of the fight card, but Ferguson pulled out of the fight earlier this week. This will be the first fight for Nurmagomedov in two years and he is 6-0 in the UFC. Horcher (12-1) is currently on a five fight winning streak and was the CFFC lightweight champion. His last two wins have come by TKO and his most recent win came in October against Stephen Regman.
