After being called out for the last year, Joe Pingitore was happy to accept fight against Bill Jones at CES MMA 37

Coming up in six days will be CES MMA 37 and the main card on AXS TV will feature a lightweight bout as Joe Pingitore looks to extend his unbeaten streak to four fights when he meets Bill Jones on the fight card coming from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

Pingitore (6-1, 1NC) is coming off a TKO win against Taylor Trahan at CES MMA 33 and three of his six victories have come by stoppage. When he steps into the cage at CES MMA 37, he will be facing a fighter with twenty-two career fights and he stated during Wednesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast” that Jones has been wanting this fight for awhile.

“As far of Bill Jones goes, he was fighting pro title fights when I was just coming on the amateur scene,” Pingitore said. “The guy has been game for years. He has a really tough wrestling and ground and pound style. He asked for this fight and he has been asking for this fight for at least maybe this last year he has been calling me out. Enough is enough with that and supposedly I am the weakest in the top ten. I think on the 12th, he is going to find out different.”
