The four fight main card for Bellator 161 is now complete as the promotion has revealed that Derek Campos will meet Djamil Chan in a lightweight bout on the September 16 fight card in Texas.
The fight booking was announced by Bellator in a press release on Thursday.
Bellator 161 will come from the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, Texas on September 16 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former title challenger Cheick Kongo will meet Tony Johnson.
Campos (16-6) is coming off a win in February against Melvin Guillard and he is 5-3 since returning to Bellator in 2013. His last two wins have come by knockout and the win over Guillard snapped a two fight losing streak. Chan (12-2) won his Bellator debut in April as he defeated Richard Patishnock by knockout in the first round. He is currently on a seven fight win streak and six of those wins have come by stoppage.
