Bellator 175 will take place on Friday night and the main card on Spike will feature a heavyweight bout as Chase Gormley looks for his third victory in a row when he meets Sergei Kharitonov on the fight card coming from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Gormley (14-5, 1NC) was signed by Bellator after he won the Titan FC heavyweight title in 2015 and has won seven of his last eight fights. His most recent victory came in October as he scored a split decision win over Bobby Brents and both of his wins in Bellator have come by split decision.

During last week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Gormley was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight set for Friday night against Kharitonov at Bellator 175.

Solid, but not spectacular MMA heavyweight fighter. And got two split decisions in the Bellator cage that easily could have gone the other way.
