Brandao made the announcement on his Twitter page on Monday and it’s unknown if this fight will be on the main or preliminary card.

Brandao (14-8) won the 14th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” in the featherweight division with a victory in the finals over Dennis Bermudez by submission.

He won the submission and fight of the night bonus in the finale and became the first Brazilian to win the reality show. He returned at UFC 146 against Darren Elkins and lost a unanimous decision on the preliminary card.

Gambino (9-1) recently made his UFC debut at UFC on FX 4 in June against Steven Siler and was defeated in the first round by guillotine choke submission. Prior to his UFC debut, he was viewed as one of the top featherweight prospects and eight of his nine victories are by either submission or knockout.

UFC 153 takes place on October 13th from the HSBC Arena and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending his featherweight title against Erik Koch.
