The co-main event of Saturday night’s UFC 150 card on pay-per-view will be in the lightweight division as former training partners square off.
Melvin Guillard (48-11-3, 1NC) takes on Donald Cerrone (18-4, 1NC) and both fighters use to train together at Jackson’s MMA in New Mexico. Guillard left the team last year and joined the Blackzilians in South Florida.
Guillard took this fight on one month’s notice and said he called Cerrone before accepting the fight against his friend. Both fighters told each other, let’s go out there and get the fight of the night bonus.
During his pre-fight interview, Guillard plans to knock out his friend and was to have an impressive win on Saturday night.
