The first fight on the Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman preliminary card was a lightweight bout as Strikeforce veteran Bobby Green handed Matt Ricehouse his first career lost. 
Green (19-5) was able to control all three round by using effective striking and landing three takedowns during the fight. He out landed Ricehouse in total strikes and landed 10 more significant strikes.
During the opening round, Green dropped Ricehouse and looked for the finish. However, Ricehouse showed he has a good chin and was able to survive and make it to the end of the round.
Green continued to dominate in the second and third rounds. Ricehouse (6-1) was unable to get much offense going, but did get some combos off in the third round.
All three judges scoring the fight gave all three rounds to Green and he has now won four straight in Strikeforce after losing his debut with the company.
