The injury bug continues to hit the UFC and this time the injury involves next week’s UFC 152 card in Toronto and not UFC 153.
Vladimir Matyushenko has suffered a torn achilles tendon and is out of his main card bout against Matt Hamill.
Stepping in for Matyushenko will be Roger Hollett, who was originally scheduled to meet Hamill on the card.

The UFC announced three weeks ago that Hollett had been forced off the fight card and did not announce the reason. According to a report on MMA Fighting, Hollett had a contract issue with the Bellator Fighting Championships which was the reason he was originally pulled from the event.
Hollett (13-3) is currently on a five fight winning streak and his most recent fight came in Bellator. He defeated John Hawk at Bellator 57 by split decision and has not been in a MMA bout since that fight.
UFC 152 takes place next Saturday night from Toronto’s Air Canada Centre and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against former UFC champion Vitor Belfort.
