Former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista will be making his professional MMA debut this Saturday night at CES 6 and was scheduled to meet Rashid Evans.
However, Evans is currently in prison and CES officials began to look for a replacement fighter.
The organization has turned to MMA veteran Vince Lucero (22-22-1), who has faced notable competition in the past. He is currently on a two fight winning streak, but was 1-11-1 in his previous 13 fights.
The news of Lucero accepting the fight with the former WWE wrestler was first reported by TMZ Sports.
CES MMA takes place this Saturday night from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. and the card can be seen on Direct TV PPV. Along with the PPV, the card will be available on BautistaMMA.com for a price of $29.95.
