The co-main event of tonight’s UFC 155 card coming from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas will be a lightweight bout as Jim Miller looks for back to back victories when he faces Joe Lauzon.
Lauzon was originally scheduled to face former title contender Gray Maynard, but Maynard had to pull out of the fight with a knee injury and Miller agreed to take the fight.
Both fighters have 13 fights in the UFC with Miller having a UFC record of 10-3 and Lauzon’s is 9-4 in the UFC. Lauzon is known for winning a fight night bonus and has won a fight night bonus in seven of his last eight fights. Miller has fought some of the best competition in the UFC lightweight division and a win tonight could put him back “in the mix,” as Dana White would say.
