A welterweight bout has been added to UFC on FS1 #2 as Ultimate Fighter alums meet when Ben Alloway faces Zak Cummings on August 28th in Indianapolis.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday afternoon after it was reported by an Australian newspaper.
UFC on FS1 #2 takes place on August 28th from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be headlined by Carlos Condit facing Martin Kampmann.
Alloway (13-4) was on The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes as a member of Team Australia and won his official UFC debut at UFC on FX 6 at the end of last year against Manuel Rodriguez. He won by knockout with three seconds left in the first round and was awarded the knockout of the night bonus. He returned at UFC on FUEL TV 9 and was defeated by Ryan LaFlare.
Cummings (15-3) was a member of Team Sonnen during the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter and this will be his official UFC debut. He is currently on a two fight winning streak and has won five of his last six fights. His last two wins have come by first round submissions and is only defeat in his last six fights came against current UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo.
