Former Bellator welterweight Paul Daley has a new promotion to compete for as the British fighter has signed with BAMMA.
BAMMA officials confirmed the signing today after it was initially reported by Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting.
Daley (33-12-2) has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion and may be on a BAMMA card before the end of the year.
“Semtex” was recently given his unconditional release from Bellator MMA, which allowed the fighter to sign with any promotion and Bellator MMA gave up the right to match any contract offer.
This will be the second time that Daley competes in BAMMA as he won two fights for the organization in 2011, which were both victories including a first round knockout win against Yuya Shirai. “Semtex” is currently on a four fight winning streak and most recently defeated Lukasz Chlewicki at Cage Warriors 57 by TKO.
Before he enters BAMMA later this year, Daley will be on the Legend MMA 2 fight card on November 9th in Russia and he has announced today that he will be facing Alexander Yakolov.
