The main event of the Bellator 103 main card was the second featherweight tournament semifinal as Patricio Pitbull controlled Fabricio Guerreiro to win by unanimous decision. 
After a feeling out process of 40 seconds, the fighters clinched with Pitbull putting Guerreiro against the fence. He would get the fight to the ground and had the half guard position. He would be able to step over to the mount but Guerreiro was able to get back to his feet.
They clinched against the fence and Guerreiro went to the ground to look for a submission. Pitbull was able to defend the leg lock attempt and he would have the half guard position. He would pass to the mount position, but lost the position quickly.
Pitbull would be back in side control and would stand up after being unable to to pass his position. The round would end with the fighters clinching against the fence and Pitbull has a 17-3 advantage in total strikes landed in the opening round.
In the opening 20 seconds of the second round, Guerreiro was able to time a punch of Pitbull and attempted to get the fight to the ground. Pitbull was able to stop the attempt and get the back of Guerreiro. He would be unable to get a takedown and referee John McCarthy separated the fighters.
Once again, they would clinch against the fence and McCarthy would separate them again after a lack of action. Once they were restarted, Pitbull started to connect with his strikes and secure a takedown as the round came to a conclusion.
After Pitbull landed a couple of punches to start the final round, Guerreiro took the fight to the ground. However, Pitbull was able to reverse the position and got into the half guard position. Pitbull decided to stand up and was able to get the back of Guerreiro once he stood up.
They clinched against the fence and Pitbull was able to take the fight to the ground with two minutes left in the round. Guerreiro would be able to get back to his feet with 45 seconds left in the fight. Guerreiro became aggressive with the fight coming to a conclusion but he was unable to land any significant strikes before the final bell sounded.
All three judges scored the fight for Pitbull (20-2) and he advances to the featherweight tournament final for the third time, which is a Bellator record. He will face Justin Wilcox and the winner win secure a title shot.
