Bellator will be returning to Revel in Atlantic City on May 2nd for Bellator 118 and the card will be headlined a bantamweight title fight as Joe Warren challenges the winner of the Bellator 111 title bout between Eduardo Dantas and Rafael Silva.
Bellator announced the event on Friday afternoon and the fight card will also feature the final of the season ten featherweight tournament.
Bellator 118 will broadcast live at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT on Spike TV and the preliminary card will be streamed live and free on Spike.com beginning at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT.
Warren (10-3) is the former Bellator featherweight champion and he will be looking to become the first fighter in Bellator history to win a title in two different weight classes. Since dropping down to the bantamweight division, he has won three in a row and he defeated Travis Marx in November to win the season nine tournament.
“I know what it’s like to have the belt wrapped around my waist, and I’m getting it back on May 2nd,” Warren said. “I’ve only been in MMA for about five years, and I feel like I’m just hitting my groove now. I feel great, I feel explosive, I love Bellator, and I want that belt.”
Bellator will be announcing more details on this fight card in the coming weeks, including the full fight card.
