A welterweight bout has been announced for UFC Fight Night on Valentine’s Day in Colorado as Brandon Thatch is slated to meet Stephen Thompson.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC Fight Night: Broomfield will come from the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado and tickets are scheduled to go on sale next month.
Thatch (11-1) is currently on a ten fight winning streak and two of those wins have come in the UFC. Injuries have keep him on the sideline in 2014 as his last fight came in November of last year as he defeated Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night 32.
Thompson (10-1) has won five of his six fights in the UFC and is currently on a four fight winning streak. His most recent victory came in September as he defeated Patrick Cote by decision at UFC 178.
