A lightweight bout has been added to UFC 185 as Ross Pearson will meet Sam Stout and this bout will likely be placed on the Fox Sports 1 preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday evening.
UFC 185 will come from the American Airlines Center on March 14th and will be headlined by Anthony Pettis defending the UFC lightweight title against Rafael dos Anjos.
Pearson (16-8, 1NC) is 1-2, 1NC in his last four fights and will enter this fight following a defeat to Al Iaquinta at UFC Fight Night 55. His only win in 2014 came in August as he defeated Gray Maynard at UFC Fight Night 47.
Stout (20-10-1) will also enter this fight following a defeat s he lost to KJ Noons in a welterweight bout in April. He has alternated wins and losses in his last eight fights and his last win came at the end of 2013 when he defeated Cody McKenzie.
