Bobby Lashley says he is fighting for the title, possibly in November

Bobby Lashley made his Bellator debut last year and the heavyweight fighter said in a recent interview posted on the TNA Impact Wrestling You Tube Channel that he has been told he will be fighting for the title.

“Everything looks good right now,” Lashley said. “I’ve been fighting for Bellator and had three fights with them. Smoked three guys and I am fighting for the title. I just found out. I should be fighting for the title. Possibly in November.”

Lashley (13-2) is currently on a six fight winning streak and three of those wins have come in Bellator. His most recent win came in June at Bellator 138 as he defeated Dan Charles by TKO in the second round. All of his wins in Bellator have come by stoppage and Bellator recently announced that he would be returning to the Bellator cage on November 6 at Bellator 145.

With the statement made by Lashley, the only question is will he be facing heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov or someone else for an interim title?
