Julianna Pena vs. Jessica Eye among three new fights announced for UFC 192

Three new fights have been added to the UFC 192 fight card on October 3 in Houston with the new fights being Julianna Pena vs. Jessica Eye, Sergio Pettis vs. Chris Cariaso, and Alan Jouban vs. Albert Tumenov.UFC 192

The fight bookings were made official by the UFC earlier today.

UFC 192 will come from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by a title fight as Daniel Cormier defends the light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.

Pena (6-2) won The Ultimate Fighter 18 in 2013 and she will enter this fight following a victory in April against Milana Dudieva. Both of her wins in the UFC have come by TKO in the first round and four of her six wins have come by stoppage in the opening round. Eye (11-3, 1NC) is coming off a decision defeat against Miesha Tate two weeks ago at UFC on FOX 16. She is 1-2, 1NC in the UFC and the win came against Leslie Smith.

Pettis (12-2) lost his UFC flyweight debut earlier this year when he lost to Ryan Benoit at UFC 185. The defeat snapped a two fight winning streak and he is 3-2 in the UFC. Cariaso (17-7) has dropped back to back fights after being on a three fight winning streak. His most recent fight came in March as he was defeated by Henry Cejudo.

Jouban (12-3) has gone 3-1 in the UFC and is coming off a Fight of the Night victory against Matt Dwyer. Two of his three wins in the UFC have come by knockout and has won a fight night bonus twice since coming to the promotion. Tumenov (15-2) is currently on a three fight winning streak after losing his UFC debut against Ildemar Alcântara. His last appearance in the cage came in January as he defeated Nico Musoke by unanimous decision.
