Spike knows their ratings more than you Jason.. Maybe they added the DVR numbers along with the averages.

What pisses me off is when all these journalists and media sites say that Bellator 131 did 1.8 million peak and Bellator 138 did 2.1 million peak. When they damn well know it’s 2 million and 2.4 million peak.

Most ppl are UFC bias. Couple ppl cover MMA neutral. Most just kiss UFC’s ass and work for them. They hate that Viacom/ Bellator wanna be number 1. In the media and fans eyes they only want UFC to rule the MMA world. They hate competition. Esp the UFC..

I have talked to Spike representatives. The average of 872k in 2015 for Bellator is +3 DVR. The live viewership average of Bellator in 2015 is 761k. For me, I value the live viewership over the +3 DVR viewership due to the fact that Bellator is a live sports program. This is not like a weekly comedy or drama, which +3 DVR numbers are more important that live viewership because I feel like I am like most people. I watch sports events live, weekly shows I watch on my DVR.

I don’t like to watch sports on DVR. But fighting is different. You can watch great fights over and over again.

Spike says Kimbo/ Ken fight delivered 2.8 million million viewers. That’s the + 3 DVR. But it peaked at 2.9 million, which they don’t mention. But who cares about the + 3 DVR. Does it really even matter? The average 1.6 million and peak 2.4 million are the only ones that matter IMO.

Btw in that press release it says Bellator MMA can be seen in 135 countries and territories worldwide. And then at the bottom (about Bellator MMA) it says it’s in 500 million homes worldwide in over 140 countries. I think they messed up. It should be in over 140 countries not 135.
