David Michaud has pulled out of his Titan FC 36 bout due to an injury and stepping up to face Zak Bucia on short notice will be Jason Novelli.
The fight changed was confirmed to The MMA Report on Saturday afternoon and the matchup between Bucia and Novelli will be a 160 pound catchweight bout.
Titan FC 36 will come from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City on December 18 and will be headlined by a title fight as Tim Elliott defends the flyweight title against Pedro Nobre.
Novelli (10-1) is currently on a three fight winning streak and won his Titan FC debut in September when he scored a decision victory against E.J. Brooks. His most recent win came two weeks ago as he defeated Cody Rice by submission at AFC 118. Bucia (15-6) will enter Titan FC 36 with four straight wins and his last three wins have come by stoppage. His last two victories have come in Titan FC and the most recent victory came against Rasul Shovhalov.
