UFC 197 will be headlined by two title fights as Daniel Cormier defends the light heavyweight title against former champion Jon Jones and flyweight champion Demetrious defend the 125 pound title against Henry Cejudo.
During Wednesday’s Nevada Athletic Commission meeting, the referees to work both title fights were appointed as Herb Dean will be the referee for the light heavyweight title fight and John McCarthy was selected as the referee for the flyweight title fight.
Along with selecting the referees for both title fights, the judges were also selected. In the main event, Sal D’Amoto, Junichiro Kamijo and Chris Lee will be scoring Cormier vs. Jones. For the co-main event, the judges will be Derek Lee, Jeff Mullen and Glenn Trowbridge.
