Bellator 151 took place on Friday night at the Global Events Center inside the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma and the card was headlined by Darrion Caldwell remaining undefeated with a stoppage victory against former Bellator champion Joe Warren
According to Nielson sources, Bellator 151’s preliminary live average viewership landed at 768,000 viewers and this is up nearly five percent from Bellator 150 (733,000 viewers).
When it came to the sports competition on Friday night, the Bellator fight card went up against the a doubleheader of NBA games on ESPN. The early game (8:05-10:35 p.m. ET) between the Washington Wizards and the Cleveland Cavalier drew 1.506 million viewers, while the late game (10:35-12:56 a.m. ET) between the Atlanta Hawks and the Los Angeles Lakers drew 1.145 million viewers.
Bellator will return to Spike on Saturday, April 16 for Bellator 152 and the main card will air live at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
