B.J. Penn vs. Dennis Siver booked for UFC 199

The return of UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn will take place at UFC 199 on June 4 in California as he will meet Dennis Siver in a featherweight bout.

The fight booking was confirmed to Yahoo! Sports by UFC President Dana White.

UFC 199 will come from The Forum in Inglewood, California on June 4 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Luke Rockhold defends the UFC middleweight title against former UFC champion Chris Weidman.

Penn (16-10-2) will be stepping into MMA competition for the first time in nearly two years as he lost to Frankie Edgar at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale in July of 2014. He is currently on a three fight losing streak and his last win came in 2010 against Matt Hughes. Siver (22-11, 1NC) has lost back to back fights and is 1-3, 1NC in his last five. His last fight came in June of last year as he lost a decision against Tatsuya Kawajiri.
