Tyler King will have his trilogy fight with Eric Bedard on Saturday night at CES MMA 35 in Beverly, Massachusetts and he will be for his second win against Bedard.
The initial meeting between the fighters took place in 2012 and King won by knockout in the opening round. The rematch took place two years following the first meeting and Bedard won by knockout in the opening round.
On this past Thursday’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” King talked about his upcoming fight on Saturday night at the North Shore Music Theatre and explained how the trilogy fight with Bedard just made sense at this time.
“It’s the fight that made sense,” King said. “There are other fights that we could have made. With where Eric and I are at right now, and all of the matchups that are out there, this one made sense.”
