An undisclosed injury has forced Derek Campos to pull out of his Bellator 152 main event bout against Patricky Pitbull and stepping up to face Pitbull on Saturday in Italy will be former UFC featherweight Kevin Souza.
The fight change was announced by Bellator on Monday afternoon.
Bellator 152 will come from the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy and the event will be shown on Saturday night at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Spike.
Souza (15-4) went 3-1 in the UFC and enters this fight following a submission defeat against Chas Skelly at UFC Fight Night 77. Thirteen of his fifteen wins have come by TKO/KO and all of his career defeats have come by submission. Pitbull (15-7) is coming off a knockout win against Ryan Couture at Bellator 148. He is 2-2 in his last four fights and ten of his fifteen career wins have come by TKO/KO.
