A women’s strawweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 89 card on June 18 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada as Randa Markos will meet Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger.
The fight booking was confirmed by the UFC following a report from TSN.
UFC Fight Night 89 will take place on June 18 from The Arena at TD Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and the event will be headlined by a welterweight bout as former UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald meets Stephen Thompson.
Markos (5-3) has gone 1-2 in the UFC since entering the promotion following The Ultimate Fighter 20. Her most recent fight came in December at UFC on FOX 17 as she lost a decision against Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Jones-Lybarger (6-2) lost her UFC debut in December as she lost a decision against Tecia Torres. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak and five of her six wins have come by decision.
