Heavyweight Jack May will be stepping into competition for the first time in nearly two years in two weeks when he faces Chase Sherman at Titan FC 38 in Miami, Florida.
May (7-2) enters this fight following two defeats in the UFC and this will be his first fight since losing to Shawn Jordan at UFC Fight Night 47 (8/16/14). On this past Thursday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” May was a guest on the show to preview his upcoming fight and talked about what has been going on with him since his exit from the UFC.
“A lot of things have changed. I have consistently stayed in the gym. It’s not like I took two years off. Been training and switched up my camp. Brought in some new people to fix some holes in my game. So we have been working diligently and continuously. A lot of comes down to not being able to find opponents to fight to be honest with you.”
