The co-main event of next week’s Titan FC 38 fight card in Miami, Florida will be a lightweight bout as Jason Novelli will look for his fifth win in a row when he faces UFC veteran Yosdenis Cedeno.
Novelli (11-1) is coming off a decision win against Zak Bucia at Titan FC 37 in March and two of his last three wins have come in Titan FC. On this past Thursday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast” to preview his upcoming fight and explained the challenges that Cedeno will bring to the cage next Saturday night at Titan FC 38.
“Well he is athletic and explosive guy,” Novelli said. “It looks to be a bit of a karate background. So I am going to be on the lookout for those kicks coming from odd angles and his footwork. But that is about it. He is 5’8 going up against a 6’1 guy and I think I have almost an eight inch reach on him. Again, he is going to have to deal with that before he can catch me with any of those crazy kicks that he has in his highlight reel.
